”Chokolade? Ja tak! Popcorn? Ja tak! En kombination? Endnu mere JA TAK!” Sådan tænkte jeg, da jeg faldt over et chokolade-popcorn-billede på Instagram. Ihh, hvor så det godt og lækkert ud! Desværre var der ingen opskrift… – men altså, så opfinder man vel bare sin egen! En vellykket en af slagsen hvis jeg selv skulle sige det. Den søde og salte snack blev selvfølgelig nydt i selvskab med familien og DR’s dramaserie 1864 (Hvad synes i for resten om den? Jeg kan ikke rigtig finde ud af, hvad jeg selv synes..)
50g mørk chokolade 70%
30g poppede popcorn (ca. 1/3 pose)
1 spsk. frysetørrede hindbær
Fremgangsmåde: Smelt chokoladen over et vandbad. Tilsæt herefter popcornene, og bland godt, så chokoladen fordeles på alle popcornene. Beklæd et fad med bagepapir, og arranger chokolade popcornene deri – herefter pyntes med de frysetørrede hindbær. Stil fadet på køl i et par timer, og nyd så en lækker snack.
”Chocolate? Yes please! Popcorn? Yes please! A combination? YES PLEASE!” That was what I though when I came across a chocolate-popcorn-post on Instagram. It looked incredibly delicious! Unfortunately there was no recipe… Well then you make your own! And a pretty successful one, if I am to say it myself. I enjoyed the salty and sweet snack with my family – what a perfect way to end the weekend.
50g dark chocolate (70%)
30g ”popped” popcorn (about 1/3 bag)
1 tbsp. freeze-dried raspberries
How too: Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Then add the popcorn, and mix gently so the chocolate is spread on all the popcorns. Cover a dish with a baking sheet, and arrange the chocolate popcorn in it. Then decorate with the freeze-dried raspberries. Leave the dish in the refrigerator for a few hours – and enjoy your snack!
You think rice cakes are dry and boring? Well, think again. All you have to do is layer them with Greek yoghurt and strawberry porridge and voila! They turn into a delicious cake-ish dessert that is way more fun to eat. I used: 3 rice cakes, 2 tbsp. of Greek yoghurt and 2 tbsp. of strawberry mash – but you can use what ever you like! Seriously guys, try it. It is just much funnier to eat good-looking food and this rice cake thing is so cute, lol.
I have a confession to make. I might seem like one of those “I-always-eat-clean-and-never-cheat” fitness girls. I like to presentmy self like that but the truth is… I’m not. There is one thing I can (and will) NOT live without. My guilty pleasure. ICE CREAM! Ohh, how I love that delicious, creamy gift from God. And the variation of flavors: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, pistachio, coconut, brownie, cookie dough, peanut butter… (I could keep going forever!)
I have ALWAYS loved and will ALWAYS love ice cream. Back when I was little my father and I used to celebrate every single Friday with a nice portion of good quality ice cream. We still do – not every Friday though. Now it is mostly when we have to watch something important in the TV. (By important I mean Champions League matches).
So yeah, now you know. This does not change that I am 100% dedicated to the healthy lifestyle. I love how clean foods make my feel and I’m convinced that this will never change. A few days ago a reader asked me if I was ever afraid of “falling off the wagon.” The answer is “no, I’m not.” In fact, I have gotten pretty obsessed about finding better alternatives to all the unhealthy junk I like. And yes – I have actually found a way to eat ice cream without cheating on my diet. The recipe is very easy and you only need two ingredients!
– 1 banana
– 20 g chocolate protein powder (I used Bodylab)
– Toppings: I used blueberries and a few grapes
How to: Cut you banana into smaller pieces and put it in the freezer. Then wait (about 4 hours). Take your banana out and blend it with the protein powder – be patient! This might take a few minutes.
What’s up? Ready for a new week? I’m not really sure.. I only slept 4 hours last night because I had a terrible headache. When I got home from school at 4 pm I tried to cure my sleepiness with this awesome smoothie bomb! (Not really sure it worked but it tasted amazing). All you need is 2 ingredients and you are ready to go!
Ingredients: 200g frozen strawberries and 250g vanilla yoghurt (I used 0,1%)
All you need to do is blend the ingredients together until it becomes a thick, wonderful, AMAZING (feel the love) smoothie! Yum yum!
How has your week been? Mine has been tough! I feel like school is just getting busier and busier every week! It’s hard for me to find time to relax because I don’t want to skip my workouts! Also my diet haven’t been all clean this week.. And you know what? – it’s OK! I’ll get back on track tomorrow and everything will fine! I mean isn’t that what a healthy life style is all about? To do your best every day? To wake up Monday morning and think, ”yes, this is gonna be a difficult week! But I’m still gonna work out! I’m still gonna eat healthy (Even if I’m on the run and have to eat all of my meals from a tupperware)! And I’m still gonna do my homework and hand in my essays before the deadline! I AM GONNA WORK MY ASS OFF!”
As always I’m posting this last week’s workout schedule:
Monday: 1 and a half hour at the gym: LEGS and a little abs + Gym class (in school): 40 minutes cardio (step)
Tuesday: Cardio: 6,5 km run
Wednesday: 1 and a half hour at the gym: Back, triceps and a little abs
Thursday: 1 and a half hour at the gym: Shoulders, chest, biceps and a little abs + cardio: 4,5 km run
Friday: Cardio: 25 minutes on the cross trainer + 1 hour zumba class
Saturday: 1 and a half hour at the gym: abs + 1 hour BODY PUMP class
Busy day today! My friend came to visit me at 8 am and then we walked to school witch started at 10 am. Basically I was at school until 5 pm and I wasn’t home until 5.30 pm.. Then all I wanted was to lay in my bed and watch Netflix (I have an obsession with White Collar at the moment..). But! No excuses! My workout had to be done! So I went to the gym backattack, triceps and a little abs – crazy crazy! I had this strawberry vanilla protein ice cream as my post meal – here is the recipe:
Ingredients: 150g frozen strawberries, 20 g vanilla protein powder and 40g pasteurized egg whites.
– Wisk the egg whites until stiff
– Heat the strawberries in the micro wave until they are soft enough to mash. Then wisk them with the protein powder in another bowl. You will probably have to wisk for a few minutes until the batter is fluffy and delicious.
– Then gently mix the stiff egg whites with the protein strawberry mash.
– Put it in the freezer – and wait (about 4 hours..)
– Eat and enjoy!
